The Farm Dog Block Party is quickly becoming one of my favorite Stray Rescue events of the year. It combines some of my favorite activities – rescue dogs, gardening and food trucks!
It was going to a be a pretty warm day, so Pug got to ride in style. The perks of being a senior pug.
One of the first dogs we saw was this energetic little pug.
This old fellow wore his bow tie for the occasion. I just ordered some bow ties for Pug, I can’t wait until he can wear them to events!
You gonna finish that gyro, grandma?? (Check back on Wednesday for the answer)
Black dogs have to find shade wherever they can. It probably doesn’t hurt to use tables where people are eating lunch.
After lunch we took a tour of the City Seeds Urban Garden.
No dogs are allowed in the garden, so Pug had to stay behind with grandma.
I was relieved to see that this year’s scarecrow was not nearly as terrifying as last year. It’s even kind of cute.
Awww yiss, love me!
All in all a wonderful family outing!
