Insta-Friday #142

It’s been a crazy week with my grandma being back in the hospital and having surgery, so I haven’t had time to post, but I have been able to stay connected through social media. So enjoy a peek at my week in iPhone photos and I should be back to my regular schedule next week!

If I don’t have time for a FURminator session, a vigorous rub down will do the trick.

Pug was trying to lick his bowl clean after finishing his PowerStew and pushed it all the way under the shelves. I need to put it in a stand because he pushes it all over the kitchen! Read our full review of the Only Natural Pet PowerStew here.

Pug Eating Ice CreamSharing the love with Pug on National Ice Cream Day.

Stray Cat eating WeruvaWe had a very hungry visitor on our porch the other day. Luckily, I had one small can of Weruva left from BlogPaws so she got an awesome meal. I thought for sure once she got food she’d be hanging around constantly but I haven’t seen her again. I hope she’s okay!

Planetarium from Barnes HospitalMy grandma developed a really bad infection in her pacemaker incision while at rehab. She spent a week in the hospital getting the infection under control enough to have surgery again to replace it. It’s been a long week but she has done well and is now in a transitional facility for the next several weeks.

Pug Sucking BlanketAfter spending a long day at the hospital Pug was very relieved to see me finally arrive home. To comfort himself he partook in an intense blanket-sucking session.

Pug visiting the Oscar Mayer WienermobileSince it’s National Hot Dog Day I had to post a throwback Thursday picture of Pug visiting the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile!

Starbucks Strawberry Acai RefresherI was really excited when I found out Starbucks replaced the Valencia Orange Refresher with a new Strawberry Acai flavor. Unfortunately, I’m unsure about it. The flavor was good but really sweet so it’s not that refreshing… no pun intended. It tasted significantly better after the ice had melted and diluted it a bit. So maybe I could order it again with extra water or less sweetener. Or you know, just stick to my tried and true Berry Hibiscus Refresher!
