Pug Reviews: Whole Earth Farms Dog Food

Whole Earth Farms Red Meat RecipeYou guys know I’m passionate about quality nutrition for my dogs, but it doesn’t always come cheap. So I’m always excited to share a product that is both great quality and a great value! This month I got to try Whole Earth Farms canned food from Chewy.com and I think it is perfect for pet parents that want to try a healthy food on a budget.

Whole Earth Farms comes in both pate style and stew. My dogs like both equally well so we tried Red Meat Recipe with the following ingredients:

Beef, Beef Broth, Beef Liver, Salmon, Peas, Carrots, SweetPotatoes, Dried Egg Product, Natural Flavor, Yeast Culture, Organic Alfalfa, Blueberries, Calcium Carbonate, Sodium Phosphate, Potassium Chloride, Salt, Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, D-calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin A Supplement, Niacin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Folic Acid, Biotin, Thiamine Mononitrate), Minerals (Zinc Amino Acid Complex, Iron Amino Acid Complex, Manganese Amino Acid Complex, Copper Amino Acid Complex, Potassium Iodide, Cobalt Glucoheptonate, Sodium Selenite), Choline Chloride, Olive Oil, Flaxseed Oil, Cinnamon, Cumin, Yucca Schidigera Extract

Whole Earth Farms is made in the USA with absolutely no ingredients from China. All the flavors are grain-free so it’s allergy friendly. It also contains no corn or soy which is a top priority for any food my dogs get!

Pug Reviews Whole Earth Farms Dog Food My dogs loved the Red Meat Recipe food but discovering Whole Earth Farms has been a total blessing for my grandma’s elderly beagle Suzie. Some of you may know my mom is currently fostering her while my grandma is in a long-term rehab facility. She was on some pretty nasty food before we took her in and her teeth were in horrible shape. One of my mom’s first tasks was getting her transitioned to a good quality food but as you know, a lot of them are on the pricey side which weren’t going to work for my grandma’s budget.

However, a case of Whole Earth Farms cans is only $19.98 from Chewy.com which works out to about $1.67 a can! And I can assure you it’s no sacrifice in quality. Plus, Suzie absolutely goes crazy for it. She had lost a bit of weight and since we’ve switched her to Whole Earth Farms she’s back to a healthy size.

Her usual pace is slow as molasses but she literally skips when it’s dinner time and howls until she gets her food. I signed her up for auto-shipments so a case of food arrives at her door every 2 weeks.

I know this review may seem overly positive but I’m honestly just thrilled to be able to share a great food that comes at such a great price point. I know that price can be a barrier to healthier food and I want as many people as possible to get their dogs on a healthy diet no matter their budget.

Disclaimer: One case of Whole Earth Farms canned dog food was sent to me for free by Chewy.com in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own and I never recommend a product I don’t fully believe in. We pay full price for the auto shipments – we just liked the food that much!
