Monthly Obsessions: October 2015

It’s been a while since I’ve done a monthly obsessions post, so it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Here’s what I’ve been obsessing over lately!

Burt's Bees Hypoallergenic Wipes

I got this pack of Burt’s Bees Hypoallergenic Wipes at BlogPaws Conference back in May. I recently started using them to clean Pug’s wrinkle and they’re perfect because they’re gentle and have no scent. The skin inside pug wrinkles is super sensitive so I don’t want any harsh fragrances or chemicals sitting in there.

As you can see, this product says it’s for cats but they work just fine on dogs. If you have a pet with sensitive skin these wipes are perfect for quick cleanups in between baths, too.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Gloss PeonyIf you follow me regularly you know I’ve been dealing with a lot of health issues and overall feeling pretty crummy the last few months. One easy way I can perk myself up a bit when I do manage to get out of the house is to swipe on some lip gloss.

This Revlon Colorburst lip gloss in Peony has been a longtime favorite but I’ve been reaching for it again lately. It’s a peachy pink shade with gold shimmer. It’s the definition of a “your lips but better” color and goes with everything. Plus, the Colorburst formula is my all-time favorite lip gloss line.

Simply Nature Coconut OilI know I am way late to jumping on the coconut oil bandwagon but I finally purchased my first jar. And like everyone else on the internet I’ve been using it for everything! So far I’ve used it successfully on my cuticles and hair, and on Pug’s nose hyperkeratosis. I haven’t used it in food yet.

I held off buying any for a long time because it was a bit pricey, but Aldi started carrying it and this large jar was only $5!

iZombieI love all things Zombie so when I saw iZombie pop up on Netflix I had to give it a try. It’s unlike any other zombie show/movie I’ve ever seen. Without giving too much away, in this universe zombies aren’t mindless (well, in most cases) but they do have to eat brains to survive. The main character takes a job in the county morgue for easy access to a food source.

It’s not a scary zombie show and it doesn’t take itself too seriously although there are some serious/violent plots. If you enjoy the zombie genre this is a really unique show you need to check out!

A&W Diet Cream SodaThis is a random one, but I had to include it because I’ve been drinking A&W Diet Cream Soda like it’s going out of style. I am not normally a big drinker of cream soda but every once in a while I’ll get a craving for it and a few weeks ago the craving hit hard. I don’t drink a lot of soda any more and I’ve been throwing back 2 of these a day!
