All year I keep my eye out for great gifts for the pet obsessed person – aka people like me! Below is a list of the top ten giftable items I found. If you’re a pet person yourself and need gift ideas for your pooch, make sure to check back on Monday for my annual gift guide for dogs along with a massive giveaway!
The Tender Voices collection is expansive and offers a large variety of pet themed jewelry. One of my favorite pieces are these paw print diamond stud earrings.
The Tender Voices collection helps support the ASPCA which makes it a perfect gift idea for someone who loves jewelry and pets. Each purchase also comes with a Tender Voices medallion that can be engraved and clipped onto your pet’s collar. I think that’s a nice little touch that makes it extra special.

This dog mobile phone stand from Plum and Ivory is adorable and comes in a range of bright colors. I know I’m always losing my phone underneath papers and clutter on my desk so having it upright would be convenient. Best of all you can share your love of dogs with everyone that passes by.
They ship from the UK so buy one for all the dog lovers in your life and save on shipping!
I’m always on the lookout for innovative travel items for keeping pets fed and hydrated on the go. This Snack-DuO by Dexas certainly fits the bill. It has 2 compartments in 1 bottle – one for treats/food and one for water. Plus, the collapsible companion bowl clips on. This is the perfect gift for someone who hikes or road trips with their pets!
Dexas also makes an H-DUO Dual Hydration Bottle which has 2 compartments for water so you can keep your drink separate from Fido’s without carrying an extra bottle.
If you need a bit more space, maybe the PetNic basket is more your speed. It’s a picnic basket just for pets, with a food and water bowl built right in. Admittedly, the price on this is steep. But I really like the concept and if you’ve got the disposable income it would be an adorable gift for the person that picnics with their pets.
I reviewed the Drinkwell Avalon Fountain this summer and I think it would make an awesome gift. It’s kind of a luxury item but it’s also practical since it really did encourage my dogs to drink more. I love the look of the Avalon but PetSafe makes several beautiful pet fountains that would look great in the home.
This is also a great gift for cat parents since cats typically prefer running water.
There’s nothing better than curling up on the couch with a blanket and a dog (or cat). These Luv-A-Pet blankets come in a variety of cute patterns and 10% of the sale price is donated to PetSmart Charities which helps save homeless pets.

I’ve been shopping for gifts and had become really jealous of all the outrageous dog leggings available for kids but not adults. Thankfully Etsy came to the rescue and I found these Puppy Party Leggings for grownups! These leggings come in capri or full length and in sizes from XS-3XL so they’ll fit everyone on your list. Best of all, they even have a PUG!
I knew I wanted to include a pet cam on this year’s gift guide and after researching several models I chose the Petzi Treat Cam. Not only can you spy on your pets while you’re away, you can also speak to them and launch treats all from your phone! I don’t leave my house nearly often enough to warrant one of these but I totally want one just to see how my dogs would react.

Every pet obsessed person definitely needs a custom pet pillow version of their babies. Me included (hint hint to anyone reading!). Kara Burke’s illustrations are adorable and spot on. I am confident any recipient would be overjoyed to have their pet immortalized this way.
Source: The Mountain
You’ve probably seen someone, somewhere, wearing one of these iconic animal face shirts but didn’t know where to get them. Well, the mystery is over because the source of these whacky and wonderful tees is The Mountain. They have shirts for many different breeds, including the pug, which I of course own already.
