Part of the reason I’ve been quieter on social media the past couple of weeks (though I was keeping up on Snapchat!) is I was I preparing for my Strut Your Mutt Bake Sale. It was a massive undertaking but also a lot of fun, and I raised $300 for my Strut Your Mutt team, Partners 4 Pets.

It’s almost October and that means I’m about to become really obnoxious to anyone that doesn’t care about baseball. It’s not every year I get to be excited about the playoffs. Sorry not sorry.

Which made the late-September Cubs/Cardinals game in St. Louis even more special. Sadly, I’m usually only able to see games in person when they are playing down here.

And while I didn’t get to see them clinch the Central Division in person, they did get one step closer. PLUS, Kyle Hendricks through a no-hitter though 9 innings which was equal parts exhilarating and anxiety-inducing.

Probably the best package I’ve received in a very long while! I’d been looking for dog carriers everywhere but none of them looked comfortable or big enough for a 20-lb pug.
