Twelve and a half years ago I brought home a 6-month-old Molly from a Petsmart adoption event. My independent, aloof dog is still as stubborn as ever, if a bit more cranky. This week we celebrated her 13th birthday with doggy cake, doggy beer, her family and all the birthday accoutrements.
